Description
A Discipleship Journey — How to Study the Bible is designed to help readers become careful seekers of truth who know how to examine Scripture for themselves. Rather than beginning with a system of predetermined answers, this workbook teaches readers to observe what is actually present in the text, understand context, recognize the larger biblical narrative, and test interpretations against the Word.
The journey explores the authority of Scripture, the importance of language, the fundamentals of sound interpretation, the difference between reading individual verses and following the larger story, the meaning of Torah as instruction, the influence of worldview, and the continuing conflict between Yahweh’s Word and competing human voices.
But learning to study Scripture involves more than acquiring interpretive techniques. The goal is to become men and women of both the Word and the Spirit: grounded in what Yahweh has revealed while remaining responsive to His Spirit as He brings conviction, understanding, discernment, and transformation.
The workbook is interactive throughout. Readers are invited to observe passages, ask questions, examine assumptions, consider what Yahweh is revealing, discuss discoveries with others, and begin developing habits that can carry into every future study. This is not simply a workbook about how to find the right answer. It is an invitation to become the kind of disciple who knows how to seek, examine, listen, test, understand, and respond.
